A downloadable game for Windows

I made this game for Trijam #270's "In the Zone" theme. I wanted it to be inspired by old, single color vector games such as Pong, Asteroids and Lunar Lander since I always loved that simplistic graphic style. It's a simple game where you shoot alien UFOs by aiming and shooting with your mouse. It gets gradually harder as you progress through each level.

If you can, try to make it to level 20!

Dev Notes:

This went way better than last Trijam (#269) since this time I did a lot of planning of how I would overall develop and code the game. Of course, it did not turn out perfectly, as I had to take a different direction with the shooting mechanic (originally, it was going to be in projectile motion instead of linear). Besides that, this game came out mostly as I envisioned with only some bug fixing along the way. I mainly developed the game in 30 min chunks throughout the day and ended up finishing it within approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. I do think the end product is a tad bit janky, but at least works for the goal I set for myself.

Please be sure to give feedback in the comments! I'd love to hear what you guys think of my work here!
